FAQ
1. Who is this professional training designed for?
👉 This program is intended for chefs, restaurant owners, caterers, or food entrepreneurs who want to add authentic Thai cuisine to their offer. Passionate cooks with solid skills are also welcome, but keep in mind that the rhythm is intensive (8 dishes per day).
2. Can the training be adapted to my business model?
👉 Yes. We tailor the program to your project: whether you run a restaurant, a catering service, or a food truck focused on wok dishes. We also consider ingredient availability in your country and can recommend recipes that work best for your market.
3. Do I need to bring my own equipment or ingredients?
👉 No, everything is provided. However, many professionals prefer to bring their own knives and of course you’re welcome to do so.
4. What materials will I receive during the training?
👉 Before starting, you’ll get access to our 12 recipe books (500+ dishes). This allows you to prepare and select dishes beyond the training menu. Some recipes are challenging outside Thailand due to ingredients, but if you’re looking for a unique edge in your market, we’ll help you stand out.
5. Do you deliver a certificate?
👉 Yes. Every participant receives a certificate of completion, officially recognizing the work achieved during the training.
6. Why choose this program instead of another school?
👉 Our expertise is unique in Thailand: we’ve published 12 cookbooks in 3 languages, we master more than 500 recipes, and our chefs are trained professionals (+HACCP certified). Add to this our sea-view terrace, two markets nearby (including a seafood market), and a fully equipped villa, it’s an unrivalled setting for professional training.
7. Can you adapt the training for dietary concepts (vegetarian, vegan, halal)?
👉 Yes. We can deliver a fully vegetarian or vegan 48-dish program, or simply teach you how to add plant-based alternatives to recreate authentic Thai flavours in your menu. Halal options are also available.
8. Can this intensive training be used for a Visa DTV Soft Power application?
👉 The intensive professional training (3–6 days) is designed to help you master 24 to 48 dishes quickly for your business.
If you are considering a career change, a professional gap year, or a long-term stay in Thailand, we recommend our 12-month Thai cooking course on Koh Samui. This program includes 48 dishes as well, but with added cultural depth, group activities, and a slower pace spread over a full year and it qualifies to support a Visa DTV Soft Power application.
