The Special Needs School has many friends!
InFusion is one of them and you can be a part of the group too!
This is how.

Lets start by introducing the school. It has been created in June 2009 by Khun Dahlin Ruangaisoon, herself a mother of three children, two of whom were diagnosed with autism and slow learning disorders. Originally starting in the town of Lamai the school later relocated to its current location in Bang Rak, near the Big Buddha. In summer 2012 the school was officially recognized and certificated as The Thai Autistic Foundation – Surat Thani branch giving the school charitable status.

Who are the friends? It's a group of local Europeans and Thai residents.

How do they help? The friends provide different kinds of support. Here are few examples : special events to raise money, sport activities for the kids : yoga and swimming classes. Some restaurants and also your cooking school donate lunch once a month.

How can YOU help? The school needs educational games and books. These games/books are expensive for Thai families. Do you have any games or books in your closets that your children no longer need? If so, please, put a game or a book in your luggage! We will collect it when you come to the cooking school and bring it to the children on your behalf.

Some examples of educational games or books that would be useful for the school: games based on shapes such as puzzles or others, games/books with numbers, colors, fruits, animals...

Thank you in advance for your generosity! We will publish pictures of the children playing with the games and books you have brought. You will be able to see the big smiles on their faces!
