During this 3 hour tour you will discover how the locals buy and prepare their food. You will taste a selection of at least 10 drinks and dishes.

After a 5 minutes walk, you'll arrive at a restaurant open only in the early morning, very popular among locals but completely unknown to tourists and you'll enjoy a traditional breakfast:
dim-sum steamed right in front of you. You'll discover some kinds of food you never heard about! Dim-sum from Southern Thailand are very different from Chinese dim-sum!
pork leg, cooked overnight with star anise and cinnamon, that melts in the mouth
soups : with glutinous and long grain rice, marinated pork, herbs and spices
iced tea, iced coffee or other beverages
Then walk 5 minutes to an organic garden:
smell and taste local herbs, vegetables, flowers and fruits (depending on the season)
discover how the owners ensure an environmental friendly development : compost, aquaponics, deep well
prepare a "magic drink" with flowers from the garden. enjoy your drink in a Thai traditional summer house
Then walk to the fresh market, 5 minutes away:
enjoy a fruit shake while you discover how the locals buy their ingredients there!
smell fragrant curry pastes and learn how it's made
ask all the questions that you want about pink eggs, pickled vegetables, sun-dried fish, ...

The tour ends at the market.

The package includes an English speaking guide and a selection of at least 10 distinct food and beverages.
Minimum 2 people per booking. Maximum number of participants: 6. Minimum age: 8.
The tour is operated on Tuesdays and Saturdays, rain or shine.
Hotel transfer is not included.
This food tour can't accommodate special diets such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, halal or kosher.
