Orange in jasmine and rose syrup


A very refreshing dessert that will look great on your table. Collect the flowers in your garden to be sure that they have not been sprayed.

The recipe will serve 4 persons.

4 oranges, peeled, cut into segments

250 ml water

1 tablespoon coconut sugar

1 handful jasmine flowers

1 handful rose petals


Bring water and sugar to the boil then lower the heat and simmer until the mixture takes a syrupy consistency (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat and infuse the flowers for about 20 minutes. Reserve a few flowers to decorate.

Place orange segments into bowls or glasses, then pour the syrup on it. Serve immediately.
