Thai sweet pork ribs – Tender caramelised ribs with coconut sugar and fish sauce

There is nothing easier to make than this recipe. Moreover, it requires only a few ingredients. Feel free to increase the recommended quantities because everyone will have second helpings!

(serves 2)

2 tablespoons oil, to stir-fry

1 rack baby back ribs (about 12 ribs)

1 pinch salt

2 onions, small diced

2 tablespoons water

2 tablespoons fish sauce

2 tablespoons coconut sugar

To garnish : sesame seeds, lightly dry fried

Cut the ribs and stir-fry, on high heat, for about 5 minutes, until ribs are evenly brown. Add salt, onions, water, fish sauce and sugar. Mix well put a lid on the pan, then cook on very low heat for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Transfer on a serving plate and sprinkle sesame seeds.
